VAGINAL REJUVENATION PROCEDURE

At All Health Medical we provide medical management and radiofrequency procedure treatment for Vaginal Rejuvenation. Having a thinner vaginal wall can put a patient at risk for Urinary Tract Infections, Vaginal yeast infections, difficulty with intercourse, decreased sensation, stress incontinence and more.

Our non-hormone based treatments as well as our procedure based therapy can help restore the thickness in the vaginal wall, decrease inflammation, risk of secondary infections and more benefits. Our treatments require no down time and you can resume normal activity with no discomfort during or after treatment immediately. Consult with one of our providers today!

This procedure is available in our Rutherford, Hackensack and Westwood Spa locations and is performed by our Board Certified providers including our Doctor's, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

We take payment plans, Afterpay, Carecredit and more!

Frequently Asked Questions

Radiofrequency energy is delivered to the vaginal tissues through a device, which gently heats the skin layers. This heat promotes collagen remodeling and increases blood flow, resulting in tighter, more youthful tissue and improved moisture retention.

The procedure is non-invasive and generally painless. Most patients feel a mild warming sensation during treatment, but there is no need for anesthesia. After the procedure, you may experience mild sensitivity or redness, which usually subsides within a few hours.

Each session typically takes 15-20 minutes, making it a quick procedure that can easily fit into a busy schedule.

For the best results, most patients undergo a series of 3 treatments, spaced about 4–6 weeks apart. After the initial series, maintenance treatments may be recommended every 6-12 months to maintain the results.

You may start noticing improvements in vaginal tightness, moisture, and sensitivity after the first treatment, but optimal results typically appear 4–6 weeks after the final session as collagen continues to build and rejuvenate the tissues.

You may start noticing improvements in vaginal tightness, moisture, and sensitivity after the first treatment, but optimal results typically appear 4–6 weeks after the final session as collagen continues to build and rejuvenate the tissues.

Side effects are rare but can include mild redness, swelling, or a feeling of fullness in the treated area. These symptoms typically resolve within a few hours after the procedure.

No special preparation is required for radiofrequency treatments. However, it’s important to avoid vaginal intercourse, douching, or using tampons for 24–48 hours before and after the procedure to minimize irritation.

There is no downtime. You can return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment, although it’s recommended to avoid sexual activity for a few days.

Ideal candidates are women experiencing vaginal laxity, dryness, or mild urinary incontinence. It is also effective for those who want to improve vaginal tone and overall health after childbirth or as part of the natural aging process. A consultation with a provider will help determine if this treatment is right for you.

The results are long-lasting, but they are not permanent. As you age, collagen production will continue to decrease, so maintenance treatments are recommended to maintain the results.

No, radiofrequency vaginal rejuvenation does not interfere with fertility or the ability to get pregnant. It only targets the vaginal tissues for cosmetic and functional improvements.

 1. Active Infections or Inflammation

  • Infections such as vaginal, urinary tract, or pelvic infections (including yeast infections) should be treated and fully resolved before undergoing any vaginal rejuvenation treatments.

  • Active inflammation in the vaginal area, such as from an ongoing allergic reaction, should also be cleared up prior to treatment.

2. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not undergo vaginal rejuvenation treatments. While there is no direct evidence of harm, treatments should be avoided due to the lack of research on safety during pregnancy or lactation

3. Active Cancer

  • Women with active cancer in the vaginal area, cervix, or reproductive organs should avoid vaginal rejuvenation treatments, as the procedure might interfere with ongoing treatments or healing processes.

4. Severe Vaginal or Pelvic Organ Prolapse

  • Severe prolapse of the uterus, bladder, or rectum may require medical management, and vaginal rejuvenation might not be appropriate in such cases. A comprehensive evaluation by a healthcare provider is necessary to determine the best course of treatment.

5. Recent Vaginal Surgery or Injuries

  • Women who have recently undergone surgery (e.g., vaginal or pelvic surgery) or have sustained vaginal injuries should wait until they have fully healed before pursuing vaginal rejuvenation to prevent complications and ensure optimal results.

6. Untreated or Uncontrolled Medical Conditions

  • Uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune diseases, or blood clotting disorders might increase the risk of complications. It is essential to have any underlying conditions under control before receiving treatment

7. Use of Certain Medications

  • Women on blood thinners (e.g., warfarin, aspirin) or medications that affect healing should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, as these medications can increase the risk of bleeding or bruising during the treatment.

8. History of Keloid Scarring

  • Women who have a history of keloid scarring may be at higher risk of developing abnormal scar tissue in the treated area, particularly after certain types of treatments like those involving heat or RF energy.

9. Active Herpes Outbreak (Genital Herpes)

  • Active herpes simplex virus (HSV) outbreaks in the genital area may worsen with vaginal treatments, including radiofrequency, as the heat or energy can irritate the affected tissues. It is typically recommended to treat an outbreak before undergoing rejuvenation.

10. Immunocompromised Conditions

  • Women with compromised immune systems, such as those undergoing chemotherapy or immunosuppressive therapy, should avoid vaginal rejuvenation treatments, as their bodies may have a reduced ability to heal and fight infections.

11. Allergy to Treatment Materials

  • If you have a known allergy to materials used in vaginal rejuvenation treatments (e.g., certain gels or anesthetics), these treatments may not be suitable. Always inform your provider of any allergies before proceeding.
